Garden Sessions on Whidbey Island
As we grow into adulthood, it can feel challenging to carve out time to connect with friends. Recently, two of us sojourned to our friend’s home on Whidbey Island.
The plan?
To share our unique healing modalities: sound and acupressure.
The backyard was a wild forest accompanied by the diverse buzz of insects from dawn to dusk, transformed into a sanctuary—a space that set the tone for a Kali-fication: divine destruction where time, death, and rebirth collided, sparking a profound wave of liberation for one of our friends.
Suppressed anger. The pressure to maintain a facade of perfection. A shrill cry. Surrendering to the exhaustion of the consistent feeling of needing to keep face. Healing their #InnerDad.
Father’s Day is June 15th —a moment to reflect on your inner father, a masculine presence, or solar energy that’s helped you feel seen. Give them the gift of a 1:1 Empression Session (Online/In-Person) —buy one and get $100 off the second session.

💛 Offer expires June 16th 11:59pm.
Creating time for your healing is a form of nourishment.
You might find yourself asking: When is the perfect time? Or delaying your own inner work with thoughts like:
I’ll do this when…
I’ll do that if…
Maybe I’ll commit once…
The truth is, there’s no perfect time. All we have is the present. All we have is NOW.
The sediment of trauma can feel like goo, a rock, or a pit in the stomach—that icky feeling that reappears in the same spot, or travels to a different part of the body, time and time again.
In German, Trauma can be broken down:
Trauer = Grief
Raum = Space
We need space to grieve who we once were—so we can celebrate who we are becoming.
Recalibrating within our friendship brought laughter, live music, and tears—the beauty of being in reciprocity, honoring each other’s essence and gifts. A sacred reminder that healing happens in the now, where grief meets grace and transformation blossoms in community.
