Through this, I was reminded that community can evolve into a chosen family.
It's a truth worth honoring because this life is meant to be celebrated.
Whether our soul is tired or inspired, our spirits strive for joy and levity. Why else do we exist if not in the unification of laughs and love?
I feel reinvigorated by the friends, old and new, who remind me why it's important to break routine for the sake of memories. Our time on Earth is limited. The people you encounter are moments meant to be savored.
In these times, when the political climate feels heavy and divisive, moments of unity matter more than ever. Watching a wave of artists at the Grammys in solidarity and resistance reminded me that we are one human family.

Whether we're celebrating our chosen family, our heritage, or our right to exist fully and joyfully, we're all connected.
