Soundflower was born from a need to express myself through movement and sound—to release decades of pain held in my body. To purify the internal torment. To quiet the self-criticism.
But the other side of that depth? It's the ability to embrace yourself. To love yourself enough to become the way. To claim your way.
Befriending your ego is an olive branch to the part of yourself that says: I know your soul's desires. Let's go for it. Let's magnetize this dream. We can do this.
When I anchor into the wish, I may not see the totality, but I feel the vision rising to the surface—coming into focus, drawing in what materializes the thought form. Even before it's fully taken shape, it's within reach. All I'm invited to do is heed those whispers. Listen. Play. Process. Unbecome and become, on repeat.
Befriending our ego means befriending all our realms. We move through cycles—guiding death and resistance with heart. We honor the part of us that wants, strives, desires recognition and safety, while surrendering to the larger intelligence moving through us.
Your ego isn't the enemy. It's the part that remembers what you came here to do. It's the voice that says, I matter. My dreams matter. I deserve to take up space and harmonize with those dreams. I can create a reality where soul family can be birthed in leaning into this desire.
When we befriend it—when we offer that olive branch—we create soul coherence. Heart and health. Inner and outer worlds aligned.
